 The Cougs are goin dancin for the first time since ‘08 - let’s take a closer look at their opponent as we head into the Thursday night matchup in Omaha ⬇️ Let’s not get ahead of ourselves but if we win we take on the winner of Iowa State-South Dakota State - go Jackrabbits! 🐇 

Drake Bulldogs (28-6) 2nd in Missouri Valley Conference and 1st in MVC Tournament 

• They are a private university located in Des Moines, Iowa (133 miles east of Omaha) that was founded in 1881 and currently has nearly 5,000 students and their colors are blue and white and their mascots names are Spike and Griff II. They are in no way related to Canadian rapper Drake. 

• They have won five games in a row including a 3OT thriller against the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames.

• They are led in scoring, assists and steals by Junior guard Tucker DeVries who averages 21.8 points, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game over 33 games and 35.5 minutes per game.

• They are led in rebounds and blocks by Senior forward Darnell Brodie who averages 7.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game over 33 games and 25.2 minutes per game.
