A metaphor for how a person can become intertwined with one thing in their career so much so that they cannot live their life for fear that they will never achieve anything more substantial than that lightning in a bottle and no matter what they do everyone will only associate them with that specific part of their life and they cannot grow and move on because their feet are cemented in this image of their earlier self.
