Also went 0-3 vs. the Tigers in his final game. October 3rd, 1981.


At 37. Salvatore Leonard Bando. Captain Sal.


4-time All-Star. 3-time World Series champ. 72, 73, 74 Oakland A's.


Was with the A's for 11 seasons. They moved from Kansas City to Oakland. 1968 was their first season in Oakland.


All-Star 69 and 72 through 74. Then he was with the Brew Crew in Milwaukee. 77 through his final season, 81.
