⚾️Baseball Mostly 9/5

“Carlos Quentin, outfield, bats right, throws right. 6'1, 235, University High School, San Diego, California.

Stanford, two-time All-Star, silver slugger. War number seven, 20, 18. Speaking of war, 10.5 on the career.

Only 2,790 at best. 702 hits, 154 homers. Another one of those high homerun to hit ratio.

252 batter. 06 through 2014, the career. Nine seasons, four with the White Sox, three with the hometown Padres.

Couple actually started off as a Arizona Dimeback. I don't even remember that. Remember him mostly as a White Sox.

All-star with them in 08 and 011. His first and final season with the Chi Sox. And 834 career games, fifth in MVP in 08.

Let's highlight that 08 season. 20 hit-by-pitches, 23 hit-by-pitches led Majors in 2011, 17 hit-by-pitches led the Majors in 2012. 100 RBI, 36 homers by far at the season high in 08.

26 doubles, 173 doubles on the career. Slightly more than homeruns. 288 batted in 08, 394 on base.

That's impressive. 347 on base on the career. 95 points higher than his batting average.

But only 298 walks, but 127 hit-by-pitches in his nine season[…]”
