 “Taking a poop.

It's so cold out there. For October 18th.

I'll just do this from the warmth of in here. Channing Frye, spotted him on NBA TV in the studio last night. Me and my dad cut the end of game three of the WNBA finals.

You gotta, it was a replay.

Very exciting. It was Ian Esku hit a huge three-pointer. And you got game four, five o'clock, West Coast time today.

Espen, ESPN. Also, I just did a Facebook post in some MLB groups. The Dodgers could go to the World Series this afternoon.

They play again in Queens, New York City. I bet they finish them off today.

And Buffet of Goodness, the nickname for Channing Frye. It's a random 13 seasons career. Arizona Wildcat, first round pick, 05 draft, eighth overall.

It's from Phoenix. Tobias Harris, his cousin.

All right, all right, here we go, we're back. See, we're in a public restroom. 2016 NBA Champion with the LeBron and the Cavs, 05-06 All-Rookie Team, and War No.

7, 44, 8, 9, 12, 890 games, 8.7 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists.

Love that. Got the milestone. Played 2000 through 08, nine seasons.

“meaning of life. Let's talk about it. We talked about it August 2023.

I think I have rediscovered the meaning of life. It's that every person, never listen to what any person says. Everyone is always, every person is full of crap.

I mean, obviously, only actions are actions are all that really matters. Speak louder than words. But so the meaning of life, though, it's not to listen to any person.

It doesn't have to do with any other person other than yourself. Not to be like, it's just you are the only person you entered this world by yourself. And you leave this world by yourself.

And yeah, so everyone else is kind of like superfluous in your life.

But the meaning of life is to go from one place to the next. As you remember, back in that time, August 2023, I kept saying, I have a bright future, bright future, dude. I had already been through so much then at that time.

And then just to think how much I have grown as a person since then, it's like, oh yeah, it turns out I was right. Remember, I kept saying that, talking about bright future[…]”

“Luis Tiant, November 23, 1940. Mariano Cuba just passed away a week ago from today. At the age of 83, pitcher, righty, six foot, 180.

And 1964 through 82, El Tiante. Three time All-Star, two time ERA title winner. War number 33 and 23 and 38.

Speaking of war, 66.1 career war. 229 wins, 172 losses. That's a lot of losses as well.

But some of the best pitchers of all time, they're the guys who got the most losses. Like Cy Young. 3.30 ERA.

Dude, that's an amazing war to get it started. That war is, let's just jump to the Hall of Fame stats. 73.0, the average Hall of Fame pitcher, of which there are 66.

That's their war. 4.2 per 162. For Luis, 4.5 for average Hall of Fame pitcher.

And yeah, so he's just below the war standard. Hall of Fame Monitor has him at 97. Likely Hall of Famer, 100.

Hall of Fame Standards, he's at 41. Average Hall of Famer, 50. Gray Ink, 112.

Although it's the namesake of the podcast, and the original name of which we have returned to, we are now A Star Is Born. Tommy Mellott. They've, Montana State is 7-0.

He is 90 for 130 from passing attempts. 1,203 passing yards, 69.2% completion. 14 touchdowns.

Is yet to throw an interception.

Amazing.

72 yards, his long pass. He's been sacked only five times in seven games. Dude, 182.5, this is rating.

That seems kind of good. Including his rating was 334.2 when they crushed Northern Colorado, 55 to 17. He was eight for 12, 225 yards, and four touchdowns.

That's when he got the 72 yarder. That's like peak efficiency right there. So amazing by the rating.

Because you pitched for the Mets. 3.36 career ERM, 12 of those 19 seasons with the Mets, the nine Mets. Three seasons with the hometown Twinkies, three seasons with the Tri Sox, two seasons with the Phillies.

140 and 137, the record with the Mets. And he went eight and 20 in 1977, led the majors and losses that year. And so we got pitching stats, dude.

We normally will do hitters. 612 career games pitched in, 527 starts, 43 games finished, 140 complete games. So games finished does not include complete games.

That's a ton of complete games by today's standards. 33 shutouts, 17 saves, 3,839.1 innings pitched, 3,635 hits given up, 1,433 earned runs, 290 home runs surrendered, 2,556 strikeouts, 1,198 walks, 15,996 batters faced, 110 for you[…]”

⭐️A Star Is Born 9/30

“Born. Just realized I am leading essentially the same life as I did when I was 15 years old. Because, let's see, I'm hanging out, I'm at home, hanging with the parents.

Katie, sister, she's in town. My brother lives out of town. I go to the thrift shop instead of going to school.

But it's not that different. And go for walks, watch sports, watch reality TV, hang out with my parents, listen to music, listen to podcasts. The only difference really is I do my own podcast now.

I create my own content. And I smoke weed, obviously. And I never smoked weed until I was 17.

It was a senior year of high school. And, but yes, I mean, it's kind of funny. I'm realizing at 31 years old, yeah, dude, basically twice the age.

And I'm leading, I'm just, I'm living that, you know, like that kind of like reliving your glory days of, you know, just hanging out and stuff. Like LeBron is still playing. Dude, right?

Right, dude? Oh my God. It's not that different.

I still watch Survivor, all that stuff. Used to watch American Idol back then. Aubrey Huff, he was playing[…]”

“a star is born, let's go. Talked to my grandpa Friday morning. He said, I said, so I says, has the world news ever been this crazy?

He said, nah, he was born in 1936. He said, even during World War II, it was not this crazy. The world news is crazier than it's ever been, according to an 88 year old man.

And yeah, dude, it's crazy. Go Cougs, Cougs got slammed on the Smurf turf. In Boise, Cliff Floyd, shout out Clifford Robinson, caught a little bit of him on NBA TV, getting ready for pre-season NBA.

And they were playing a throwback game from like 2000. I looked up, cause I was like, why is Clifford Robinson so familiar? And it's cause he was on Survivor back in, I think it was, it aired in 2014.

And there you go, baby. Also watched Survivor yesterday with my mother and yeah, good stuff. So Clifford, there you go.

Cliff Floyd, Cornelius Clifford Floyd, left field and first base, lefty batter, righty thrower, 6'5, 220, Chicago, December 5, 1972, 1993, shout out, 1993, threw 09, played, one time all-star, 1997 World Series champ, wore number 30, 15[…]”

Let's go. Peace in the Middle East. Stay safe in the Southeast United States.

Getting hit by Mother Nature. 6,510 at-bats, 1,800 89 hits, only 28 homers on the career, 290 batter. We have 15 seasons, 10 with the Florida Marlins, as they were, now the Miami Marlins.

You'll remember him as a royal mainly. Two as an Oakland A. Shout out to the Oakland A's.

Quite the awesome sendoff they did yesterday. There were some A's legends in the building. They had a sellout crowd.

They did not open up Mount Davis, the super upper level. They can fit a ton of people because it's a football stadium. They used to play in now because their last game was yesterday.

But dude, they did a good job there. The A's showed out, showed up, the fans showed up, the A's showed out yesterday. Billy[…]”

It's my Friday, and I work so hard. What song, some of this is weird. You can just remember a part of a song, and it works so hard.

All right. Dude, I'm 31 years old now. I don't know why I said, I mean, now I am, but I have been for a while, for months.

What is time anyway, dude? I mean, just when we're just going in circles of hustling for money and like pleasuring ourselves.

But, yeah, dude, James Loney, first base, lefty, 6'3, 235, May 7, 1984, Houston, Texas. Good luck to, speaking of the south, Floridians. All the Floridians listening, good luck.

Yeah, dude, sounds like they got some crazy weather coming their way in the Panhandle Gulf Coast region of Florida. Coming today and this weekend. Is it officially a hurricane or just a tropical storm?

Who is to say? Who is to, who categorizes that? You know, but there must be some, it's called like the Sapphire Simpsons scale or something.
