⚾️Baseball Mostly 9/18

We were in sixth grade, I do believe. Two time All-Star, three time Gold Glover, Silver Slugger, ALCS MVP. 67-27-23-14-30.


Speaking of war, 41.9 on the war for the career, 7214 at bats, 2142 hits. A lot. 104 homers, 297 batter.


Very good by today's standard. 16 seasons, 1,927 games, 7,887 plate appearances, 1,009 runs, 348 doubles, 32 triples, 723 RBI, 81 stolen bases, 30 caught ceiling, 429 walks. Did not walk often, did not strike out often either.


538 strikeouts, 343 on base for the career, only 46 points higher than the BA 17th in MVP in 07, All-Star 07-011, with the Tigers and Phillies, respectively, and respectfully. 25th in MVP, 09. Gold Glove, 07-09-011.


Silver Slugger, 07.


Playoffs, 5 years, 9 series, 38 games, 147 play appearances, 11 runs, 32 hits, 4 doubles, 13 RBI, 3 stolen bases, 1 caught ceiling, 11 walks, 9[…]”
