⚾️Baseball Mostly 9/17

 “April 11th, 1974, 61, 195, left there. North Carolina, 96 through 08, pro-career.


New Hanover High School, Wilmington, North Carolina. Not UNC, did not go to college.


He premiered, I like saying, instead of debuted, he premiered at 22 years old. The 17,000th player in Major League history, Ron Shapiro, agent. Christopher Trotman-Nixon, Trotman, that's a great name.


04 World Series champ, War No. 7, 33-6, speaking of war, 21.2, career war, 3,627 at bats, 995 hits, 137 homers, 274 batter. Did not play at all in 1997 in the majors.


Played two games in 96, 13 in 98, 124 in 99. Officially rookie season, 9th rookie of the year, 10 seasons with the Bosauls, then one with they were the Cleveland Indians back then, now the Guardians. Then final one with the Nye Mets, 1,092 games, 579 runs, 222 doubles, 28 triples, 555 RBI, slightly more runs than RBI.


504 walks, 689 strikeouts, 364 on base career, a whopping 90 points higher than the BA. And playoffs, 6 different years in the playoffs. Just one of them with the Cleveland Indians, 07.
