 “AC. Green, talked about him recently.


He's kind of a legend. He's kind of the idol of this podcast. 6'9, 220, October 4th, 1963, Portland, Oregon.


Oregon State Beaver.


Ironically, he was, ironically, he was a beaver in college. As he's a virgin throughout his NBA career. Benson Polytechnic, Portland, Oregon, high school.


First round pick, 23rd overall, 1985 NBA draft. October 26th, 1985 debut, 16 seasons. One All-Star, Iron Man nickname for his record consecutive regular season games streak.


And three time NBA champion, 1988-89 all defensive. War No. 45, 1,278 games, 9.6 points per game, 7.4 rebounds, big-time rebounder, 1.1 assists, nine of the seasons with the Lakers, four with the Suns, three with the Mavericks, final season, the Miami Heat.


He came back and played with the Lakers his penultimate season, 99-2000, after he spent his first eight seasons, 85-93 with the Lakers. And yes, just did not miss a game from, it appears probably from 1987 through 97. So a decade plus of not missing a single regular season game and started 832 games, 28.6 minutes per game, 7.2 field goal attempts per game, 49.4% field goal.
