Tom Cruise is nearing the end of his rope with Dustin Hoffman. In a last-ditch effort, he abandons Hoffman while he is using the bathroom in a desolate rest area outside of Sedona. As he speeds away, Cruise feels a tinge of guilt and almost turns around but suppresses the feeling with drugs and alcohol for the remainder of his life.
